Suzanne Whitcomb Vivino has performed on the musical comedy and operatic stages as well as being guest soloist on the concert stage, throughout the United States, including San Francisco Opera Company and the Merola Opera Company under conductor Karl Kritz.
As a licensed music teacher K through 12, she taught in the Public Schools in Nevada. .
Of interest, her private teaching credits included training a young lady who became Miss Nevada, who made in the top ten finalists in the Miss America Pageant. She trained a speech student with a cleft palate to speak and sing so well that she was hired by a famous touring choir!
She continued her college studies in Reno, NV earning 2 more degrees in Music. She then continued her classical performance career as soloist in opera and oratorio.
Upon moving to New York City, she married and opened her music studio, where she has devoted her teaching to private students for over 25 years at the SUZANNE VIVINO VOICE STUDIO.

Miss Susanne Whitcomb was the featured soloist for her role as Laurie in Oklahoma on TV's "Key Club" in Boston. She was a backup singer with Patti Page on National TV.
She was cast and performed in multiple roles in summer & winter theater season performances including:
Brunswick, ME, West Palm Beach, FL, Dayton, OH, Framingham, MA, Cohasset, MA
Of note, she performed the Ingenue lead, Hope Harcourt, in Anything Goes, the comic role of Gloria Rasputin in
Bye, Bye Birdie, Yum Yum in The Mikado. She toured with 2nd National Company of Camelot throughout the USA.
Off-Broadway: Performed in the musical "Jo", based on Little Women, starring Liza Minnelli.
Operatic & Concert Stage:
Suzanne Whitcomb-Stull has performed on the concert and operatic stages throughout the United States, including San Francisco Opera Company. She was honored with the title of "California Singer of the Year” and was given a scholarship. In addition, the Sacramento Opera Guild sponsored her in a full recital in Sacramento, CA. A National audition based on her outstanding vocal performance, won her entrance into the Merola Opera Company, which operates in close collaboration with the San Francisco Opera; this summer opera program resulted in a scholarship to study in Europe.
She performed in oratorio concerts: soprano soloist with chorus and orchestra in various venues in San Diego & San Francisco, CA and Elmira, NY. These include Debussy's La Damoiselle Elue, Handel's Messiah, Haydn's Third Mass, Schubert's Salve Regina, Mozart's Requiem, Schubert’s Agnus Dei, Saint Saens’ Christmas Oratorio.
Opera performance venues included: Reno Opera Theater., Inverness Music Festival, Merola Opera Program, San Francisco Opera Company, Palace of Fine Arts, San Francisco, CA

Suzanne Whitcomb-Vivino's teaching technique (bel canto) emphasizes that the mind and body are one, bringing the whole person into balance: physical, mental, and vocal. She teaches correct breathing for any performer. Mrs. Vivino teaches each student to develop independence with awareness and inner control of the vocal instrument. Her teaching is applied to every day communication: speech, drama, interpretation - the tools to make a successful career.
